Mayor John Rich, (Immediate past President, Minister’s Local Government Advisory Council)
Mayor John Rich is currently the President of the Local Government Association (LGA), Mayor of the Walkerville Council. He is also serves on the Local Government Super Board and is the Chairperson of the Eastern Waste Management Authority incorporating Walkerville, Kensington, Norwood Payneham & St Peters and Burnside Councils. Other interests include recycling, WasteCare SA, Office of the East, Disability Discrimination Act Action Plan, Chairperson to the Highbury Landfill Authority. He is a qualified mechanical engineer and has a certificate in Marketing and Planning Practice. |
