Kerry Colbung, (Chair, Premier’s Aboriginal Advisory Council)
Ms Colbung is from Ceduna, and holds a Diploma in Business and a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education from the University of South Australia. She worked for many years in Ceduna with both the Federal and State Governments in a variety of service delivery roles. When Ms Colbung was elected to the Ceduna District Council in 1997, she became the first Aboriginal woman elected to a South Australian local council. She has recently taken up a position as Indigenous Services manager with the Eyre Regional Health Service in Port Lincoln. Prior to that, she worked with the State Government’s Social Inclusion Unit. |
