Peter Blacker, Vice –Chair (Chair, Minister’s Regional Communities Consultative Council)
Peter was the Member for Flinders in the SA House of Assembly from 1973 to 1993 and remains strongly involved in regional development issues. He is former President of the Marine Scale Fisherman’s Association, which involves liaison with the Department of Fisheries, SARDI, Members of Parliament and industry members. Peter has been a member of the Port Lincoln Lion’s Club for 31 years, and is patron for numerous agricultural show societies on Eyre Peninsula. Peter’s special focus is on regional issues, in particular regional populations, and the health, wellbeing and opportunities for rural South Australians. He is currently a member of the Development Assessment Panel for the City of Port Lincoln. |
