Getting involved with Regional Planning

During May and June members of the Community Engagement Board will be on the road talking to regional communities about regional priorities.

Public forums will be held in various locations for each region so that local communities can begin identifying those targets that are seen as priorities for their areas.

Tell it like it is - Listening to young South Australians

The Office for Youth is partnering with the Community Engagement Board to consult with young people across the state on SA Strategic Plan targets to:

Ensure young people’s voices are heard as part of the community engagement taking place to regionalise the Plan

Inform the development of the new South Australian Youth Action Plan 2008 – 2014 that is clearly linked to SA Strategic Plan targets and informed by youth voice.

Consultation is taking place between February to June 2008 and Office for Youth staff will be visiting eight regional areas across the state.
